Five outstanding young cellists from five countries receive sponsorship awards
Kronberg im Taunus, 30 September 2026 – A total of 185 young musicians from around 35 nations came to Kronberg for the 2026 Cello Masterclasses – 84 as active and 101 as passive participants. From 25 to 30 September, they worked with five internationally renowned cellists and teachers – Frans Helmerson, Gary Hoffman, Jens Peter Maintz, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt and Ildikó Szabó.
