Masters in Performance

14-16 June 2024

Even the best need to pass exams – and fortunately, since their recitals give rise to tremendous concert experiences, they are also open to the public. Examination concerts are on offer from Bachelor and Master candidates playing in a wide variety of ensemble configurations.

Rousing graduation concerts

For an entire weekend – from Friday to Sunday – the young musicians will demonstrate their skill in independently curated concert programmes. This summer, the graduands include Noga Shaham, Hana Chang, Hans Christian Aavik, Philipp Schupelius, Wassili Wohlgemuth, Claire Wells and Elias David Moncado.

Examination recitals

All concerts take place in the intimate atmosphere of the Carl Bechstein Hall, and offer opportunities to meet the outstanding young players during concert intervals.
