Commemoration of Mstislav Rostropovich on the occasion of his 100th birthday.
“Kronberg is the world capital of the cello,” Mstislav Rostropovich (1927–2007) once said. He supported the Kronberg Academy from the very beginning. After his death, we maintained an annual “Appointment with Slava” for ten years at the Rostropovich bust in the centre of Kronberg.
Now we will meet him there once again to celebrate his 100th birthday.
The programme will be announced at a later date.
