From Phillip Telemann to the Present Day

The ensemble Frankfurt Chamber Brass was founded in 1991. Its musicians are members of the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra — one of Germany’s leading orchestras.

Music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods is performed just as naturally as works from the Classical and Romantic eras or contemporary compositions, as well as excursions into blues, jazz, and crossover projects.

Guest performances have taken the ensemble to renowned festivals such as the Rheingau Music Festival, the Würzburg Mozart Festival, the Weilburg Castle Concerts, the Kronberg Festival, and the Bad Hersfeld Festival.

Tickets, plus fees, are available at the box office and in advance at www.frankfurtticket.de.

Garcia

Participants

  • Thibaut Garcia Guitar

Programme

A musical journey from the Baroque to the 20th century.

French guitarist Thibaut Garcia is one of the outstanding artists of his generation. With subtle expressiveness, technical mastery, and a special poetic quality of sound, he takes the audience on a musical journey — from the Baroque to the 20th century.

In his richly varied programme, Garcia traces an arc from the elegance of French Baroque music and the structural power of Bach to the colourful sound world of Spanish and Latin American music of the 20th century.
