The Japanese pianist Yoko Kuwahara attended the renowned Toho Music High School and studied at the Toho University of Music in Tokyo until she passed her exams with distinction. In 2013, she continued her studies at the Lübeck University of Music with Prof. Konstanze Eickhorst, successfully passed her Master's exam in 2016 and obtained a Master of Music in accompaniment in 2019 after completing her training.

As a concert pianist, she has given numerous concerts in Japan, Korea, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Italy, Israel and Germany, performing both as a soloist and in chamber music. She has been a répétiteur at the Lübeck University of Music since 2017 and at the Rostock University of Music and Drama in several instrumental classes since 2019. In addition to this activity, she works at many master classes throughout Europe. She is a frequent partner for recordings and national and international competitions.
