“The journey is the destination” is a saying that undoubtedly applies to collective music making, and in the Mit Musik - Miteinander chamber music project participants and audience members benefit in equal measure. Here, young musicians who had the fortune to play with and learn from distinguished artists at Chamber Music Connects the World themselves take on the role of tutor.
Bows at the ready, set... go!
During the three-day workshop, they work on challenging chamber music pieces together with young prizewinners from national competitions, putting practical experience into the hands – and bows – of the younger players. At the end of the open rehearsal days, a closing concert takes place in the Grand Hall of the Casals Forum.
