To the heart of music
Chamber music is the queen of all disciplines. It takes players and audiences straight to the heart of music. What teachers cannot explain in words is conveyed through the experience of playing with their students. Chamber Music Connects the World brings selected young musicians together with world-famous artists. They spend eleven days making music together – from the very first day right through to the last of the at least five concerts, a time that is infused with a fascination for experimentation and the setting for key, top-level musical experiences. From the outset, the audience is part of it all.
Since it first began in 2000, Chamber Music Connects the World takes place every two years and has been funded by the Crespo Foundation.
