Poesie & Virtuosität. A piano recital with works by Chopin, Schumann and a brilliant arrangement of Saint-Saëns / Liszt / Horowitz

Uladzislau Khandohi has long since conquered international stages: as a finalist in the world-renowned Cliburn Piano Competition 2022 and winner of the Sydney International Piano Competition 2023, he performs worldwide - from Europe and Russia to the USA and Australia. His debut CD was released on the Melodiya label, and a further recording of solo works was released by Decca Australia in 2024.

Born in Minsk in 2001 into a traditional family of musicians, Khandohi showed exceptional talent at an early age. He won his first Grand Prix at the age of ten and triumphed at the “Nutcracker” competition in Moscow at the age of eleven. Since then, success has followed success: first prizes at the Astana Piano Passion, the La Palma d'Oro, the Mimas Piano Competition and, most recently, the Dinu Lipatti Piano Competition in Romania. In 2024, Khandohi was nominated for the 13th International German Pianist Award.

His artistic training initially took him to the Republican Music College of the Belarusian State Academy of Music and later to the Moscow Conservatory with Professor Natalia Trull. Since 2023, he has been studying at the renowned Reina Sofía Conservatory in Madrid with Professor Stanislav Ioudenitch.

Khandohi's playing combines technical brilliance, emotional depth and musical maturity - and makes him one of the most exciting pianists of his generation.
