Successes at the Manhattan International Music Competition

Anne Luisa Kramb and Mairéad Hickey, who are both studying at Kronberg Academy, won prizes in the strings category at the Second Manhattan International Music Competition this summer.

German violinist Anne Luisa Kramb won the First Great Award, which includes a recital with a programme of her own design at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall on 22 September 2017.

Irish violinist Mairéad Hickey won a special award, the Gold Prize, with distinction.
