Anna Naretto, who was born in Savona (Italy), has made chamber music and song interpretation the focus of her pianistic activities. In partnership with outstanding artists, she is a welcome guest at international concert series and festivals such as the Dresden Music Festival, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Barge Music (New York) and the Kronberg Academy Festival. She is also actively involved in the world of opera as a solo répétiteur and an orchestra member at well-known theatres such as the Frankfurt Opera and the Staatstheater in Darmstadt.
She complements her artistic activity as a performer with her teaching commitments at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main, where she is assistant to Michael Sanderling. Apart from her association with various prestigious academies (including the Carl-Flesch- Akademie in Baden-Baden, Forum Artium, Weimar Master Classes and Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland), since 2004 she has also worked regularly with Frans Helmerson, Gary Hoffman, Nobuko Imai and other outstanding artists at Kronberg Academy. She was taught by Sergio Verdirame at the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi in Turin, Rainer Hoffmann, Andreas Meyer-Herrmann and Charles Spencer at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and the Altenberg Trio at the Vienna Conservatory. Masterclasses with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Irwin Gage, Andrea Lucchesini, Emilia Fadini, Jesper Christensen and others completed her musical training.
