Ausstellung

Das Casals Forum: zukünftiger Kammermusiksaal und Studienzentrum, Raum für Projekte, Inspirations-Zentrum für Musiker aller Generationen. Seit Herbst 2017 baut die Kronberg Academy das Casals Forum, dessen Namensgeber der weltberühmte Cellist, Komponist, Dirigent und Lehrer Pablo Casals (1876 – 1973) ist. Die Ausstellung informiert über Ziele, Fakten und den Stand des Bauprojekts.

Eine Einführung zum Viola, Viola!-Konzert

Ein einzigartiges Violinkonzert, ein ganzer Strauß von Sonaten-Meisterwerken für Violine und Violoncello – und wo sind sie, die großen Viola-Werke aus der Feder des Bratschers Beethovens? Ja, richtig gelesen, Beethoven war in der Bonner Hofkapelle als Bratscher angestellt. Und dennoch hat er die Nachwelt nicht mit bedeutenden Solowerken für die Viola beschenkt. Dr. Norbert Gertsch (G. Henle Verlag) berichtet: Man muss schon etwas tiefer graben, um als Bratscher bei ihm fündig zu werden…
