About Mit Musik – Miteinander
  • First held in 2002
  • Twice a year
  • Kronberg
  • Young musicians aged between 13 and 19
  • Crespo Foundation initiative

Of all the projects for young people, the chamber music workshop Mit Musik – Miteinander (Making Music Together) is of particular value. Twice a year, as part of  Crespo Foundation initiative, exceptionally talented young musicians from Germany, Austria and Switzerland are given an opportunity to gain valuable experience by playing chamber music with fellow musicians - often only slightly older than themselves - who have taken part as Juniors in the Chamber Music Connects the World project and have already won prizes in international competitions. Applications are welcome from schoolchildren aged between 13 and 19 who have won first prize in Germany's young musician competition, "Jugend musiziert", "Prima la Musica" , "Schweizerischer Musikwettbewerb" or similar competitions as well as from outstanding pupils from Kronberg Academy's Emanuel Feuermann Conservatory.

The project is also an excellent opportunity for the young tutors in the three-day open workshop to test their leadership skills and build up a wide range of teaching experience.
